Bopp is well-known as a leader in designing and manufacturing hydraulic and electrical systems for marine applications.

Our teams work on all types of winches, capstans, windlasses, steering gears and special products for various fields: fishing, tugger, offshore, research and defense.

Bopp designs steering gears since years allying technology and reliability

Steering gears' manufacturing is an integral part of our know-how since years. Bopp's production of steering gears covers a range from 200 to 50 000 m.daN and is adapted all ship sizes and types.

Bopp delivers a 65 tons winch

Bopp, manufacturer and designer for hydraulic equipment delivered a 65 tons tugger winch on 22/03/17, a success made possible thanks to a good competitiveness, an ability to meet challenges and above all a great team work inside Bopp’s walls.

New range of COMPACT net drums

BOPP launches its new range of net drums equipped with hydraulic motor directly integrated inside the barrel. This solution brings a space gain and a net winding speed increased at the turn’s beggining.

BOPP has a new product within its net drums range : Net drums without intermediary bracket. The advantage of this novelty is the space gain on board while preserving equipement’s performance.

Each year for Easter, There is the biggest sailing boat gathering at the occasion of Spi Ouest-France in La Trinité sur Mer. The ship "Le Défi Bigouden" proudly bears Bopp's colours.
